Fernando Fiksman was the driving force in creating various service and distribution companies as early as the 80's. In the late 90's he created an incubator of Internet start-up projects focused on the Hispanic market, and oversaw their international expansion.
In 2002 Mr. Fiksman assumes oversight of international markets for a mobile phone distribution firm crafting the strategy in Latin America that leads the firm to achieve an important presence in over 10 countries. In 2007 he takes the lead of Celistics.
Mr. Cohen has over 18 years of experience in financial markets in LATAM and USA. He started his career as an FX trader in Citibank Venezuela, and then as a Management Consultant in NY for PWC Consulting, IBM and E&Y for the financial services industry. He specialized in trade and transactional products, where Mr. Cohen spent time advising in strategy and operation to companies such as BofA, PayPal, MasterCard, Citibank and other fortune 500 companies.
Mr. Cohen was the COO of Celistics, a large distributor of mobile equipment to Latin America. He holds an MBA degree from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh PA, and a bachelors degree in Business Administration form Universidad Metropolitana in Venezuela. Since 2009, Dan Cohen is co-founder and General Manager of Movilway, a company specialized in the development of telecom related products and services with its network across Latin American markets.
José Luis Riera began his professional career at KPMG after completing a Masters in account auditing, graduating with degrees in Economics and Business, and receiving an MBA from Rutgers University in New Jersey. Before joining Celistics he was manager of structured products at HSBC Bank in Spain.
As Manager of Caja Madrid in China and Trade Commissioner for IVEX in Cuba he gained experience in international business and finance that are ample and broad. He is currently a member on the advisory council of La Seda de Barcelona, a Spanish multinational chemical corporation. During his stay in China he was elected to the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in the Asian superpower.
Graduate of Universidad Autónoma de Madrid with a law degree, and a postgraduate law degree specialized in modern technology from Universidad de La Rioja. He worked at the office of Coll Navarro Sanz Villar & Associates, and became a partner in the legal department at Total Consulting in 2001. He has collaborated in many seminars and specialized publications.
Since 2008 he has served as the General Counsel and Head of the Legal Department for Celistics.
Earned a degree in Public Accounting with 18 years of experience in the consumer financial sector and corporate banking. Was responsible for the planning and implementation of processes, organization, programs and policies for the management of consumer credit risk of the Santander Group's subsidiary in Venezuela.
As Vice President of Payment Systems Risk Area, forms part of the team that develops and introduces products such as TITANIUM MASTERCARD, CREDIPERSONAL and CREDICASH, among other innovations in services of the Bank of Venezuela. His experience also includes financial consulting, management and audit supervisor of Ernst & Young.
Has headed more than 100 projects in software development, among the ones related to electronic payments, systems for Citibank, various websites, and Vencash. The latter is the foremost platform in Venezuela in use for online credit card payments and is used by mercadolibre.com, tuticket.com, Electricidad de Caracas, and many more.
In 1995, he graduated from Universidad Simon Bolivar as a Systems Engineer. Mr. Cavallin is a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist in networking, NET infrastructure, and Certified Ethical Hacker (EC- Council). He created the virtual data center for Cavallin Attias Sistemas, which obtained the “Case of Success” award given by Microsoft in 2008. Andres Cavallin won his first programming award at the age of 11 from Epson.
With over 20 years of experience in design, implementation, commercialization, and operation of tech products and services. Before joining the Movilway team, Mr. Paz worked as Chief Technology Officer before becoming VP and General Manager for Latin America for 7 years at Emida, a multinational dedicated to operating electronic payment networks for the unbanked population.
Before Emida, Luis worked at Starmedia Mobile as Senior Director of software, where he headed the development of multiple Value-Added services for MNOs in Latin America. Additionally, Luis worked in Modular Mining Systems, a subsidiary of Komatsu (Japan). Luis has a BS in Systems Engineering and a Masters in Industrial Engineering from the University of Arizona and an MBA from the School of Global Management in Thunderbird University.
